Finale

FINALE

This project is through depicting a disired structure and then moving towards a noisey image. In my project i have done this through Squares that are drawn towards a point from a different origon. Where each square has a differnt fill colour towards the end point. going from light to dark. giving a gradient to the form, working towards an illusionary effect. This is then emphasized through the black background, combind with a neon green stroke which makes the form stand out. To move towards noisey i simpley translated and rotated around a certain point, with a certain amount depending how much i change the x factor in the rotate funtion.

Finals, proj 2 - 141

These are my final images for this project. i have moved from the top image of structure, where i move from structure to noisey.
Ticks the box of the neon green mixing with the black background, the illusion through the gradient, thats placed at a certain spot around the page.

From i have rotated  and translated on the x axis  a certain amount depending how noisey i want to go to.

Colour theme development

working out if i liek white bacground, and a darker fill colour form my rect form.

working with colour again, and seeing if lowering opacity with a white background is effective.
i dont find it to exciting.

INSPIRATION FOR FINAL

I am drawing inspiration from matrix code as i see my code to be getting form from it.

Finalsed concept

what im going to be working with in this project.
i will only edit certain variables in functions

New rotate

ROTATE 2.0

I am working with a new rotate funtion.
This is incorporating pop and push function. This incorpratees a translate and roate function. where i could controle what and where im rotating the independant variables.

When increasing the y variable in the rotate function i went real noisey but made some cool pattern in the centre. i was unsure if that was nosiey enough or if it would get done for having structure.

Different parts getting rotated

DEVELOPMENT/ ROTATING/noisey

NOSIEY ROTATE

This gave a real cool effect of rotating with radians through a 260 degree rotation.
The images move towards  a more rotated image as you move down, they still gave cool patterns, was unsre if it stil held some sort of structure when i tried to make it real noisey.

DEVELOPMENT/ ROTATING

DEVELOPMENT/ ROTATING

These images just show practising with sort of rotation function to get noisey.
This is through rotate(radians("variable"); In some images it worked pretty well, looked interesing but didnt seem as though i had control of what or where i was rotating to.
I t could only rotate the whole funtion as one around a 360 degree each foloowing each other.
i want each square to be independant of itsself and rotate its self.

The colours seem to be working effectively.

DEVELOPMENT 141

DEVELOPMENT

Now that i have my code, im working with developing it. This will be done through translating and rotating.

But at the moment im working with the push and popmatrix funtion. working out what i will want to do with this function.

Concept

CONCEPT/ CODE

I had finally worked out a reliable code, with a loop funtion that has the neon green, with black, and is straight.
To me it looks to busy for a structure, and not very appealing.

Conceptual/ practise looping

Conceptual/ practise looping

This is my first practise in actual looping of a given shape.
practising with ellipses, moving along the x and y axis.

Im working with the shape of squares, as i like the basic shape of squarse, as it seem simple but effective.
working with gradients, and giving an illusionary 3D effect.

I am practising with different lengths of the form that i have created through incrasing variables of their width hieght. i started using the the neon green stroke, but have not got the right illusionary effect.
I then tried doubling up the same shape with a larger function, giving a layered effect.
From where i tried spacing the angled lines across the x axis in ceratin incriments. but seem to have written the code wrong as it was crooked. the background colour didint seem to work effectivley.

I changed the background colour to a more subtle colour of grey, seem to work more effectivley.
the next tasking was having multiple forms, but didnt keep the amount of squares per form which was a pain.

The more rect forms i added seem to lloose more and more of its squares in each of lines.

The use of the orange looks effective but not what i was going for.
i wish to also lower the acual width and height of the rect.

I worked on expanding the square to a point, looked cool but i saw this as not good structure

INSPIRATION 141

The mixture of neon lights appeal to me, with the effect of neon to a dark black backround brings the image out, and makes it more eye catching.

So im taking this concept and using neon green with a greyish gradient on a black background.

Inspiration 141

The illusionary effect that these shapes get due to different angles and colours; either through lighter or darker of one colour, or a range of colours is very effective

Inspiration 141

I like the effect of giving a shape or a gradeint.
From darker to lighter or vice versa, seem tome to have very good effect.

This will also will add to the illusionary effect of what im trying to portray to the viewer.

INSPIRATION 141

In my design  i want to try and incorporate an illusionary effect. i find this to be interesting due to the effect that your eyes find it captivating to wonder why it makes that kind of effect; this illusionary effect.
Holding your attension to the design.

INSPIRATION 141

Starting forms

i find that simple shapes prove to have a better structure than complicated forms. so im going to follow along square foundation.

This also goes with anther one of my other aspects that im going to show part of. This is showing a bit of 3D effect.
